摘要

Gladys devoted almost half a century to translate works of more than 100 kinds ranging from the pre Qin literature to the modern works, which was seldom seen in the world translation history, promoting her to become a rarely famous bilingual translator. Her translation works are abundant in styles and forms, expounding China’s literature from different angles so that more oversea readers can understand Chinese literature, and then understand the Chinese culture.
