摘要

For the last 500 years,one great saga after another of prosperity and decline,success and failure has played out for socialism on the stage of human progress.There have been both triumphant advances and flustrating setbacks.In the late 1980s and early 1990s,world socialism encountered serious difficulty with the dissolution of the Soviet Union and dramatic changes that swept across Eastern Europe.
