摘要

On 22 June 2018, Deputy Secretary-GeneralLiu Kaiyang led a CAFIU delegation to attend aconsultation with NGOs at the UN headquarterin New York. Initiated by the UN Economic andSocial Council （ECOSOC）, this consultation isthe first time for the UN to solicit opinions fromNGOs in consultative status with ECOSOCregarding the evolving relationship betweenNGOs and UN. Over 50 international NGOs inconsultative status with ECOSOC attended theConsultation and voiced their opinions. CAFIUis the only Chinese NGO that is invited to attendand address the Consultation.
