摘要

Shaoxing established its first international friendship city relationship in 1983,much earlier than other Chinese cities.It was the first among all prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang province to do so.After Xi Jinping,general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee,proposed the Belt and Road Initiative,Shaoxing’s work in developing friendship city relations was boosted immensely.
