摘要

The rural survey movement started in China in the 1920s and 1930s provided a solid support for understanding the rural areas,solving the crisis in rural areas,and saving and revitalizing the rural areas. At that time,various forces at home and abroad devoted themselves to this movement and made remarkable valuable research achievements. Dong Shijin was committed to the prevention and treatment of water and drought disasters and the survey of ' agriculture,rural areas and farmers'. His agronomic thought not only has great academic value in the rural survey movement,but also has practical reference for the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.
