摘要

The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),caused by a novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronvirus(SARS-CoV-2),has led to over 40 million confirmed cases in 212 countries,with over one million fatalities.The scientific community is doing its best to understand the pathogenesis of COVID-19 and develop antiviral drugs or vaccines at unprecedented speeds to minimise its impact on individuals and on the global economy.The COVID-19 Mass Spectrometry Coalition,involving around 600 of global scientists,was founded in May,2020 for providing molecular level information on SARS-CoV-2 and infected patients by the collective efforts,including our pioneer research on glycosylation analysis[1,2].
