摘要

The purpose of this paper is to review the research progress on the chemical composition and pharmacological action of Kummerowia striata(Thunb.)Schindl.,so as to provide reference for the chemical research of natural medicine and the discovery of new drugs.K.striata(Thunb.)Schindl.contains a variety of active constituents,such as flavonoid glycosides,phenols and amino acids,and has a wide range of pharmacological activities,including anti-allergy,analgesia and anti-inflammation,anti-oxidation,anti-tumor and so on.It is mainly used in the folk for the treatment of cold and fever,summer-heat and dampness,vomiting and diarrhea,dysentery and so on.
