Women in Love is the best novel of D.H.Lawrence.One of the reasons for its greatness is the author’s ingenious arrangement of the narrative point of view.In the novel,he adopted the point of view from the omniscient narrator and the limited point of view from shifting characters. The two kinds of point of view embody his connection with the traditional realism and the modernism.Through the two points of view, the author portrays vivid characters and then conveys effectively the two eternal themes of his novel:sexual love and social criticism to the reader.
