摘要

Shetongmon County is seated 4,300 meters above sea level and falls under the jurisdiction of Shigatse City within the Tibet Autonomous Region.The name essentially means"happiness at first sight" in Tibetan,and the county is a typical example of a semi-agricultural and seminomadic land.Its territory is long,spanning east to west,with portions both high and low.
