摘要

The first time I saw Abedola Umuer,he was wearing a bright green T-shirt that seemed to darken his skin and a smile as bright as the Turpan sunshine.Located in eastern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,Turpan has an extremely continental desert climate featuring long and intense sunshine in the summer.Born into a farming family,the young man often works in the field in such sunlight all day long.
