of Wales Hospital in Sydney’s eastern suburb.My family moved from China to Australia eight years ago.I read the Special Report in the July issue of China Today which included six articles featuring exemplary cases about how China and other countries worked together to jointly contain COVID-19.Obviously,there is consensus now that concerted global efforts should be made to rein in the raging coronavirus.As a medical worker,I have deeply felt the challenge posed by the pandemic to our medical care system,and everyone in the hospital has been devoted to saving lives.The Australian people’s attitude towards wearing masks has also gradually changed from refusal to acceptance.Funds and donations raised by the Chinese community in Australia are supporting local people in the fight against the coronavirus.We are expecting that the vaccine against COVID-19 will come out soon as a global public good,and the availability and accessibility of vaccines should be ensured in both developed and developing countries.Facing the pandemic。
