摘要

Filial piety is one of traditional virtues in the Chinese traditional Confucian culture. The traditional virtue of filial piety plays its financial function to avoid the family risks in the process of social and financial development. But with the development of economy and finance, this function has becoming weak. Some modern financial systems provide systematic supports for the social pension system. This thesis discusses about the traditional virtue of filial piety and tries to make sense the traditional concept of bringing up sons to support parents in their old age from the financial perspective.
