摘要

Located in northeast China's Hei long jiang Province , the Wudalianchi Biosphere Reserve is marked by relatively recent volcanism. Rich diversity of plants dating from the tertiary period forms a high conservation value. The reserve is an ideal research site for geology, seismology and geomorphology. It is also known for its rich heritage, cultural and customs significance.
