On January 16, a shipment of Chinamade massage equipment worth $6,700 departed from Xiamen, Fujian Province in southeast China, for Mauritius, just five days after the Chinese Council for the Promotion of International Trade issued a certificate of origin to the exporter Xiamen Shengshi Dry Yup Trade Co. The document allows for the application of reduced or zero customs duty.
