Introduction:Chinese English learners were madly enthusiastic about English Corners a few years ago.But theenthusiasm seems to be dropping dramatically nowadays.It is uot because of the loss of the learners’interest in learning English.The reasons seem rooted in poor organisation.At our college,instead ofblaming students for not attending English Corners regularly,we began to try out a well-planned‘WeeklyEnglish Day’.which has proved to be attractive to the students.Why Do English Corners Fail
