Effect of the Aharonov-Bohm potential in a polyacetylene ring

摘要

The effect of Aharonov-Bohm (AB) potential in a peierls-dimerized chain, namely a polyacetylene ring is discussed. It shows when the AB potential is pres-ent, the SSH Hamiltonion of a one-dimensional dimerized chain must be modified, and the total energy as well as the persistent current is affected by the magnetic flux.
