<正> 在英语中,有一些形容词后边接不同介词时,意义迥异。兹举数例:She was rather sick at missing the train.她没能赶上这班火车,感到很懊丧。The child was sick for his home.这个小孩很想家。He is nice in his dress.他对衣着挑剔。He is really nice to the guests.他待客人真好。She was near to tears.她几乎要哭了。She is near with her money.她花钱吝啬。
