摘要:
IntroductionMore than a hundred million year history of the Mesozoic evolution of the Tethys is recorded in the layers of the Kálvária (Calvary) Hill at Tata, a town 70 km northwest of Budapest, between the Gerecse and Vértes Mountains. On the ruins of a medieval church, located on the top of a projecting cliff, a chapel as well as calvary monuments were built in the 18th century lending the name of the hill.
