<正> Friendly relations, including trade and other intercourses between Nepal and the Tibetan Region of China have beenmaintained since ancient time. After the People's Republic of China was founded in 1949 and a 'Seventeen-Article Agreement on measures for the peaceful liberation of Tibet' was signed between the Central People's Government and the local government of Tibet in 1951, Nepal
