摘要

In Tibet, “white” is a symbol of auspiciousness, gentleness and kindness. Under the strong sunlight of the plateau, the white buildings and blue sky form a beautiful effect with bright color and moving harmony. Likewise, Tibetans believe that red may inspire friends and frighten enemies. So the people commemorate religious leaders and heroes with red color.
