摘要

A global survey on the lifestyle of scientists,the level of work stress they deal with,and variances according to which country they live and work in has been conducted on the Internet,The 196 responses to the questionnaire sent out to 321 email addresses-a 61 percent recovery rate-inicates the level of concern these issues are to scientists themselves,According to questionnaire feedback,on average they work a basic 9-hour day plus or minus 1。2 hours,and a 5。5-hour day on weekends plus or minus3。3hours.
