In the season of the blooming Japanese flowering cherry, I attended the Conference of Sino-Japan People's Organizations held in Tokyo and made a friendly visit there as a member of the CAFIU delegation from April 11 to 17. The conference was widely attended and closely watched by the people from all walks of life both in China and Japan and regarded as one of great significance for the people's organizations in the two countries as it was held on the occasion of the 60^th anniversary of the world people's victory over fascism and Chinese people's victory over the Japanese aggression as well as in the time when Sino-Japan relations were in difficulty.
