Question: Dear Joe, the other day I was listening to an English dialogue. Two terms puzzled me, so I am writing to you for help today.One is "Bud light" in the following dialogue: A: Anything to drink? B: Yes. I'd like one Bud light, please. Does "Bud light" mean "beer"? The other word that puzzles me is "softball". What is the difference between "softball" and "baseball"?Am I right that softball is a women's game and baseball a men's game played with almost the same rules? Thank you very much!
