At the request of the European Union, the United States and Canada, the World Trade Organization decided to set up a dispute settlement panel on October 26, launching a formal investigation into the allegation of China's trade practices concerning the import of auto parts. The move is to examine whether China's tariff on imported auto parts breaks international trade rules.
