摘要

China has been taking strategic steps to switch its economic development strategy and some critical changes have gradually taken place in the labor market. The central government began to review the Labor Law with the aim of improving labor protection and smoothening employment relations. In addition,it has tried in various ways to lower unemployment, including temporary unemployment, as part its solution to the stability of people's livelihood.
