摘要

Identifying rupture directions of earthquakes is one of important aspects in focal mechanism research. For moderate-strong events, at present,directions of their main ruptures are usually extrapolated from focal mechanism solutions by combining information about distributions of aftershocks and surface ruptures, or/and extends of isoseismal major axes. However,it is still difficult to identify their rupture directions for moderate-smail events.
