1 Semen analysis:the opportunities in China In daily clinical practice, we attempt to classify diseases according to patients' symptoms and reference values for certain tests. A minimal evaluation is performed following the diagnostic standard, and the patient is treated according to the diagnosis. In this 'classification medicine' model, a patient's individual characteristics are more or less ignored.
