摘要

With the development of science since the end of the last century,significant progress has been made in the basic and applied research based on mega-science facilities in China.In recent years,a number of accelerator projects were constructed,including the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility,the Heavy Ion Cooling Storage Rings in Lanzhou,the Hefei Light Source Phase-Ⅱ Project,the Dragon-I Induction Linac and the Major Upgrade Project of the Beijing Electron-Positron Collider while some others are under construction,such as the Upgrade Project of the CIAE Tendem and the China Spallation Neutron Source.In the meantime,many small-scale accelerators have been built for scientific research and application.Great achievements in machine physics and technologies have been got in the design,construction and operation of these accelerators.
