<正>Metog is located in the southeast corner of Tibet.It covers an area of 34,000 square kilometers.In ancient times it was known as"Padmagang",which meant"flowers"in Tibetan.Mountains surround Metog and the land slopes from north to south.The land is shaped like a lotus blossom and the Yarlung Zangbo River cuts through the whole county.
