[Objective]The research aimed to investigate harm of the atmospheric pollution to vegetation in Kaili.[Method] Injured vegetation was classified into 5 categories.Harm condition of the atmospheric pollution to vegetation in Kaili was investigated by random sampling method.[Result] Among 86 investigated species,there were 46 species(Punica granatum,Viburnum chinshanense Graebn.,Broussonetia papyrifera,Ligustrum lucidum,Ulmus parvifolia Jacq.,Corylus chinensis,etc.) growing normally,23 species(Zanthoxylum simulans Hance.,Pyracantha fortuneana,Vitex negundo Linn.,Glochidion puberum(L.) Hutch.,Rubus biflorus,Elaeagnus pungens,etc.) injuring lightly,10 species(Vitis amurensis Rupr.,Ligustrum quihoui Carr.,Sophora japonica Linn.,Castanea seguinii Dode.,Liquidambar formosana Hance.,Diospyros kakivar,Hedara nepalensia var.sinensis,etc.) injuring moderately,and 7 species(Spiraea chinensis Maxim.,Macleaya cordata,Platanus acerifolia(Ait.) Willd.,Pinus massoniana Lamb.,Lilium sulphureum Baker apud Hook.f.,Cunninghamia lanceolata(Lamb.) Hook.,Biota orientalis) injuring severely.[Conclusion]The research provided data for making vegetation protection countermeasures in Kaili.
