摘要

The previous studies concerning Manipulation School are mostly obsessed with the sharp contrast between the con straints on translators by ideology and how translators break through these constraints in order to display their subjectivity. This thesis is aimed at placing the two elements at a peaceful environment to discuss how they collaboratively"manipulate"transla tors’ behavior in their process of translation.
