【正】The sad news came that Dr.Charles M.Grossman died peacefully at home in Portland,Oregon,the United States,on July 16,2013.He had been living alone since the death of his wife Frosty in 2002 as neither his son Peter nor daughter Lindsay lived in Portland.He was very independent,driving his car to a specific bakery to buy bread,cooking his meals,and going to the hospital where he had worked to look up references.A Chinese student lived in his house,which could be considered as a kind of care.Dr.Grossman,born on December 23,1914,enjoyed a long life.He
