Recent advances in colloidal chemistry have enabled a variety of monodisperse, size-tunable metallic, semiconductor,magnetic, and dielectric nanocrystals (NCs) [1], the availability of which has driven the rapid development in the field of colloidal assembly [2].Colloidal NCs have a high tendency to self-assemble upon evaporating a NC dispersion, giving rise to long-range ordered arrays, also known as NC superlattices, after the complete solvent evaporation [1].
