摘要

In the framework of relevance theory,this study attempts to discuss unprecedentedly the duality of foreignization and domestication from the perspective of translation,and take examples from two Chinese versions to make comparison in the translation of the Age of Innocence.The study hopes to provide some helpful and useful supplements for the research on the picked literary work from a new point of view.The two strategies should be used synthetically to make a better effect in translation.
