Scientists uncover the innate fear "switch" neurons in mice

摘要

A research team led by Prof.Duan Shumin (段树民) and Prof.Wang Hao from the Institute of Neuroscience,Zhejiang University has identified two types of neurons in the laterodorsal tegmentum that can oppositely regulate predator odor-induced innate fear.This study was supported by the Major State Basic Research Program of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China,and published in Nature Neuroscience (2016,19(2):283-9).
