China is mulling sweeping policy reforms in the state-dominated oil and gas industry that could heighten competition through greater private sector participation,but analysts say the impact will only be felt in the long term as barriers abound.Execution of some of the reforms also hinges on further progress of oil and gas price liberalization.Refined oil prices are largely liberaliszd but that of natural gas is still at an early stage.
