摘要

RNA silencing or RNA interference in plants and animals plays essential roles in cellular defense against viral infection and abnormally expressed genes in a sequence-specific manner [1].In the plants infected by RNA viruses,viral replicative intermediates,double-stranded RNAs (dsRNAs),are formed and cleaved into small interfering RNA (siRNA) by Dicer-like (DCL) proteins [2].These siRNAs (21-24 nucleotides in length) are recruited by ARGONAUTE (AGO) family of proteins to form RNA-induced silencing complexes (RISCs).And then RISCs trigger the surveillance mechanism of post-transcriptional gene silencing via RNA cleavage,translational repression,or mRNA destabilization [1,2].
