摘要

China is currently experiencing the largest and fastest rate of urbanization in human history.Between 1978 and 2015,China's urbanization rate increased from 18％ to 56％ as its urban population increased from 172 to 770 million.At the same time,the number of cities increased from 193 to more than 650.Cities,the centers of resources and social-economic activities,are being labeled as the locomotive of China's modernization movement.
