摘要

China and India have a long historical relationship dating back to the 7th century when Xuanzang (玄奘;Hsüan Tsang) first traveled to India for study.He followed the old silk route from China,across central Asia,to India.Today,China is promoting the "Belt and Road Initiative," a programme that could reinvigorate the historical connection between the two countries,and provide golden opportunity for collaboration.
