摘要

Platelets,also called thrombocytes,are a component in mammalian blood and play a vital role in haemostasis,thrombosis,and inflammation responses.They are fragments of cytoplasm derived from megakaryocytes living through proplatelets and preplatelets.Since discovered in nineteenth century,platelets,as part of megakaryocytes were thought to be produced mainly from bone marrow before entering circulation.
