摘要:
Novel macromolecular architectures with well-defined compositions and structures are of particular interest and the synthesis and self-assembly of those polymers have been an important research topic in polymer science over the past several decades.Meanwhile, through the advances in polymerization techniques, numerous well-organized polymers can be designed to construct engineering materials and medical devices.Among these, the recent emerging asymmetric molecular double-brushes bearing more complex segments than linear polymers represent a special type of polymers and they basically possess two different molecular brushes linked together,i.e.every repeat unit of the linear polymeric backbone possesses two attached polymeric side chains.Due to their special structures and strong intramolecular interaction of different side chains, asymmetric molecular double-brushes could facilitate their self-assembly,allow access to diverse morphologies and be employed as nano-structured materials and giant surfactants.
