Another global technological giant-Intel Corporationrecently announced its alliance with the well-known oilfield service provider Weatherford,stimulating the oilfield service industry.According to Colin Tait,the IT Director of Weatherford,‘cooperation with Intel and other leading IT companies allows us to expand the functions of existing oilfield technologies.With the power of cloud computing,advanced analysis and IOT,we are able to build an end-to-end digital oilfield solution,which gives us greater efficiency in the upstream oil and gas industry.’
