摘要:
Aromatic compounds often serve as widely available and fundamental synthetic materials in polymers, paints, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. The development of novel transformations based on simple aromatics to access highly value-added structures is in great demand. In this regard, catalytic asymmetric dearomatization (CADA) reactions can convert planar aromatic compounds into enantio-enriched three-dimensional cyclic molecules (Scheme 1) [1,2].The past several years have witnessed significant progress in CADA reactions and a large number of strategies have been developed. These reported methods include oxidative dearomatization reactions, dearomatization by hydrogenation, dearomatization by Diels-Alder and related reactions, allylic arylative, and Heck-type dearomatization,Reissert-type dearomatization, etc.Among these methods, dearomatizaton is generally initiated by thermal-activated processes.
