摘要:
Targeted drug delivery to the site of disease is of both fundamental and practical importance in the development of personalized and precision nanomedicine. How to design a drug carrier that can specifically deliver drugs to tumors and other cell populations has long been a formidable challenge in clinical practice. With the development of nanotechnology, increasing effort has been dedicated to exploring the application of many nanoformulations in biology and medical science, such as nanoparticles, micelles, liposomes, and so on [1-3].Despite a variety of candidates that have been developed or clinically tested since 1960s,some issues regarding to the safe and effective use of nanovehicles in targeted therapeutic applications remain unresolved due to many practical barriers in the aspects of delivery vehicle, synthesis strategy and biological activity.
