摘要

In the past 46 years,bilateral relations between China and Maldives progress by leaps and bounds and shape into cordial relations based on mutual respect,win-win cooperation and common development.China's assistance to the socio-economic development of the Maldives began with grant aid for social housing projects in the early 1980s.Today,China is financing some of the biggest infrastructure development projects ever undertaken in the history of the Maldives.
