摘要

China's State Council information office on September 22 released its white paper,"Seeking Happiness for People:70 Years of Progress on Human Rights in China."The white paper says that seventy years ago,under the leadership of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the Chinese people were emancipated and became the masters of their country.Subsequently,the nation has stood up,grown prosperous,and is becoming strong.All basic rights of Chinese people are increasingly respected and protected.China has made continuous contribution to the international cause of human rights.
