摘要

President Lin Songtian spoke to the CCTV International Channel on April 17 on the unique role people-topeople diplomacy has played in the fight against COVID-19 around the world.Lin said the coronavirus is a dangerous threat to the lives and health of people worldwide,and the fight against it is a global battle between humans and nature.He noted that immediately after the outbreak,more than 80 countries,160 foreign friendship cities and organizations and many individuals promptly wrote andcalled to convey their sympathy to the Chinese people.
