摘要

Supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,a collaborative study led by Prof.Liu MoFang (刘默芳) from the Center for Excellence in Molecular Cell Science,Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology,Chinese Academy of Sciences,Prof.Zhou Yu (周宇) from the College of Life Sciences,Institute of Advanced Studies,Wuhan University and Prof.Shi HuiJuan (施惠娟) from Shanghai Institute of Planned Parenthood Research affiliated to Fudan University,recently found that PIWI/piRNA plays a key role in translation activation during spermiogenesis in mice.This work was published in Cell (2019,179(7):1566-1581).
