Automatic dish washing (ADW) machine market grows quickly in China in last several years. To delight consumers in China, series of innovations have been made, such as small size machine, on-the-table machine. With this, the need of ADW detergent is also growing rapidly. However, there is no consumer relevant technical and standard method that can help to guide product development. To help setting up methods in China, learning on technical performance evaluation of ADW products in Europe is shared and suggests that there is a need to develop methods that correlate to consumer need in China.
