摘要

With the support by the National Natural Science Foundation of China,the research team led by Prof.Tao XiaoRong (陶小荣) at the Laboratory of Molecular Plant Virology,Department of Plant Pathology,Nanjing Agricultural University,rescued the tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) entirely from complementary DNA clones in plants and established the first reverse genetics (RG) system for a segmented negative-strand RNA plant virus in the world,which was published in PNAS (2020,117(2):1181-1190).
